Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Bloomington, MN is seeking a part-time Inventory Control Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy and support material control in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The role involves cycle counts, discrepancies resolution, and SAP transactions to ensure materials are available and accurately recorded. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year in inventory control, strong Excel and data analysis skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, materials management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other inventory management, ERP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Research, identify, and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Process inventory transactions within SAP, including adjustments, transfers, receipts, and material movements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inventory variances.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, planning, and procurement teams to reconcile inventory issues and maintain material availability.
• Review inventory reports and identify trends, shortages, excess inventory, and potential process concerns.
• Support annual physical inventory activities, including preparation, counting, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Verify material locations and accuracy of inventory records within warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with company procedures and audit requirements.
• Assist with inventory-related projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Support training efforts by reinforcing inventory control best practices and standard operating procedures.
