Job summary

Pulcra Chemicals Rock Hill is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to join our Supply Chain Team in Rock Hill, SC. The role focuses on inventory control within warehouse operations, SAP-based processes, and ensuring accurate records for efficient customer service and material flow.

Ideal candidates will have SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and at least 2 years in inventory control, with an associate degree or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for advanced roles.

  • Process PO receipts and stock transfer receipts in SAP.

  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical inventory, SAP, and documents.
  • Assign and maintain warehouse locations for materials.
  • Perform routine cycle counts and support annual physical inventory.
  • Enter QC data in SAP and support timely material release from quality inspection.

Education

Job description

Our company is currently seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to join our Supply Chain Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and strong SAP knowledge. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and will be responsible for managing and controlling inventory in relation to supply chain and customer service.

Essential Functions
  • Process purchase order receipts and stock transfer receipts accurately in SAP.
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory records for non-SAP materials using Excel spreadsheets and manual logs.
  • Investigate, analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical inventory, SAP records and supporting documentation.
  • Assign and maintain warehouse locations for production and inbound materials.
  • Perform routine open location counts in the warehouse.
  • Track and count empty packages / containers.
  • Create and distribute the daily Inbound Report, identifying materials to be sampled to QC.
  • Enter QC data in SAP to facilitate timely release of materials from quality inspection.
  • Process goods issues for direct shipments for Pulcra external warehouses.
  • Conducts routine cycle counts and owns plant physical inventory process, ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance. Supports inventory-related financial audits and provides documentation as required.
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse operation practices and strong SAP experience regarding shipping, receiving and inventory management is required for this role.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all aspects of inventory control including ISO standards and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team and provide back-up support to the Production Planner or Logistics Coordinator as needed.
