Qualifications

• ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, and PALS where applicable.
• Relevant state licensure or certifications must be current.
• VIR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain licensure and certifications.
• Provide procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policies.
• Operate IR equipment to produce quality images.
• Prepare patient, verify identity, and document procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety and maintain safe environment.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, and consents.
• Educate patient, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Record procedures and any adverse events accurately.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with team.
• Manage sheath, hemostasis at end of procedure.
