Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking a Part-Time Intervention Specialist at North Bend STEM Academy in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role focuses on supporting students with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, and implementing behavior plans in a rigorous STEM-focused environment.

Ideal candidates will hold a state license, have experience with inclusion/co-teaching models, and be adept at planning, assessment, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• Active state teaching license.
• Experience in inclusion or Co-Teaching models.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to support intervention strategies and modify general education curricula as needed.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write IEP goals and objectives.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.
• Plan and assist in non-instructional activities and field trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
