The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking temporary, part-time instructors for the fall 2026 semester to teach English courses including First-Year Composition, Humanities, and Creative Writing. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in English or English Composition and preferably 1–3 years of teaching experience.
Instructors will be responsible for providing academic advising, supporting student organizations, and may work in hybrid or online formats. Benefits include vacation leave, health benefits, and retirement plans.
The Department of English invites applications for temporary, part‑time instructors for the fall 2026 semester. Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach English courses, including introductory and advanced level courses. The successful candidate will teach face‑to‑face and/or online First‑Year Composition (FYC), Humanities, and Creative Writing courses, attend training and review sessions, and may provide academic advising, support student organizations, and contribute to program development and assessment.
