North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University is seeking a Part-Time Instructor for the English Department for fall 2026. This role requires teaching First-Year Composition, Humanities, and Creative Writing courses, both online and face-to-face. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in English or a related field and ideally have 1–3 years of teaching experience.

The position may allow for remote or hybrid work arrangements, but candidates must reside in North Carolina within a 2-hour commuting distance of the assigned duty station. Employee benefits include accrued leave, health benefits, retirement plans, and various discounts.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Master’s degree in English or English Composition at the time of application.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of teaching experience at the university or community college level are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Attend training and/or review sessions.
• Provide academic advising of students.
• Support student organizations.
• Participate in program development and assessment.
• Work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
