Position Description
- 3-5 years'experience with Esprit and related CAM software.
- 3-5 years' experience in Mechanical Design, CNC Machining or Manufacturing.
- Drafting or Design Certificaton preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to structure training and relate concepts to adult learners.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Essential Job Functions for all ACD Instructors
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
- Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
- Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
- Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
- Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. - prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program.
- Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
- Perform all duties as assigned by management from time to time.
