Job summary

College of DuPage in Naperville seeks an Instructional Assistant III for part-time support in the Learning Commons and Testing Center. You will assist with test administration, proctoring, and student guidance in a busy, campus environment.

The role is approximately 20 hours per week, with an hourly starting rate of $21.70, and benefits included for part-time staff. Applicants must have at least two years of college and strong communication skills; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency in spoken English.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Prior work experience in education preferred.
• Advanced computer skills preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of test administration and instructional support services to students and faculty in the off-campus Learning Commons (LC).
• Maintain daily LC & Testing Center operations and provide excellent customer service.
• Troubleshoot and resolve testing software problems to ensure tests run on schedule.
• Communicate test results and direct students to appropriate COD departments.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct information sessions informing students of academic support services.
