Job summary

Technology Center of DuPage is seeking a Lab Assistant for the Construction program to support instructors and help students practice skills in a safe lab environment.

This part-time role offers an hourly rate of $30. Flexibility is provided with several scheduling options, including Mon-Fri shifts. Experience in the field and paraprofessional endorsement are preferred, and bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certification in the program field you are applying for.
• Paraprofessional educator endorsement or eligibility required.
• Bilingual is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with practicing their skills and reaching competency.
• Assist with lab procedures and safety.
• Review projects and instructions with students in smaller groups as needed.
• Provide feedback on students to teachers, student services counselor, career counselor and administration as needed.
• Support the lab by organizing and moving supplies and/or equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
