Meridian Health Services is seeking a part-time Assistant Social Worker for the inpatient psychiatric team at River Bend Hospital in West Lafayette, IN. The role supports weekday 11a–7p and weekend 10a–6p shifts for a total of 25 hours weekly.

The candidate will assist in treatment planning, psychosocial assessments, and both individual and group therapy, utilizing EMR systems and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field.
• Experience working with persons with developmental and/or mental health challenges is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist Social Worker or Therapist in developing and writing treatment plans.
• Produce positive treatment outcomes with individuals.
• Assist in psychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual and group treatment to patients.
• Maintain relevant and timely progress notes in the EMR system.
• Assist in providing individual and group therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention as trained.
• Provide education to clients and/or family members.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Meridian Health Services policies, procedures and regulations and with ethical standards.
• Actively participate in professional growth and continuing education activities.
