Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must have thorough knowledge of the Food & Nutrition Services Policy.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of the Medicaid Policy.
  • Must be proficient with NCFAST, Compass and One Case.
  • Must have good interviewing and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze information and determine eligibility accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Receives applications for Food & Nutrition Services, Medicaid, Work First, and related programs.
  • Interviews applicants to determine eligibility and collects necessary documentation.
  • Maintains and updates client case files; performs eligibility redeterminations.
  • Uses NCFAST, Compass and One Case to enter and retrieve information; assists with referrals.
