PITT OHIO in Harrisburg, PA is hiring a Full Time Dockworker-Inbound. This role requires the ability to read, write and communicate with customers, and you will load and unload freight by hand or using hand trucks and dollies.

Qualifications

• Must pass a non-DOT physical examination.
• Consent to a pre-employment drug screen with a negative result.
• Ability to read and write English and perform simple math.
• Ten-year work history check with explanations for gaps.
• At-will employment status.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements using hands or hand trucks.
• Sort and secure items on trucks to prevent damage.
• Lift heavy items such as cartons, boxes, drums and crates.
• Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks and tow motors.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with federal, state and company regulations.
• Process paperwork daily related to the job.
