Qualifications

• Must pass a NON-DOT physical examination.
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen with negative result.
• Must read and write English and perform simple math
• Must consent to a ten-year work history check with explanations for gaps
• You are an at-will employee with Pitt Ohio; no contract guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight according to DOT requirements, by hand or using hand trucks/dollies.
• Sort and secure items on trucks or dock to prevent damage.
• Perform lifting of cartons, bags, boxes, crates, drums, pipes, bars, rugs, etc.
• Operate common material handling tools: carts, dollies, pallet jacks, tow motors.
• Follow safety rules and comply with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Process daily paperwork related to job execution.
