Job summary

Product Connections is seeking an Associate to perform in-store demonstrations, serve and sell products, and manage event equipment within retailer environments. The role emphasizes professional presentation and proactive consumer engagement.

The position is part-time with up to 25 hours per week, requiring food safety awareness and the ability to interact with store personnel and customers. Pay rate is $14.50 per hour with the potential to support multiple events across locations.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient ability to use and navigate on a personal computer and personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Food Safety Professional Certification, Local Food handlers permit if required.
• Physical Demands: The employee will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, read instructions, and lift up to 25 pounds (sometimes 50).
• Language Skills: English is the primary language; bilingual may be required based on necessity.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of the equipment and supplies used for events to ensure they are clean and secured in the backroom area.
• When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming events and the execution of past events.
• Be the point person for all events in the store; assist with event kits, materials, and tools as needed.
• Provide leadership and product knowledge to the team.
• Proactively engage and sell products to consumers.
• Prepare foods using raw products and kitchen appliances safely.
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation and professional appearance.
• Set up Event Table and complete all work assignments.
