In-Store Demo Lead & Events Specialist

Job summary

Product Connections is seeking an associate to perform in-store food and non-food demonstrations, learning products, serving consumers, and managing event equipment in retail stores. The role includes preparing samples, maintaining areas, and presenting product features to customers.

Hours are limited to not exceed 25 per week, with flexibility to support events. English proficiency and adherence to safety guidelines are required, with food safety certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 1-3 months related experience.
• Proficient ability to use a personal computer and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies in the backroom, clean and secure.
• Communicate with store management about upcoming events when Supervisor is absent.
• Be the point person for all events in the store and assist other Event Specialists as needed.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team during events.
• Acquire adequate knowledge of the products represented and demonstrate their features.
• Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines and using appliances as appropriate.
• Set up and prepare Event Table for execution and document success stories with photos.
• Complete all assigned work, submit online requirements the same day as events, and submit expense reports.
