Part-Time In Room Dining Operator - The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago

Join us as a Part-Time In Room Dining Operator at The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago, managed by Sage Hospitality Group.

Located atop Water Tower Place in the historic Gold Coast, The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago offers luxurious amenities and a prime location with access to shopping, cultural attractions, and exclusive hotel facilities including a spa, rooftop lounge, and more.

We seek passionate hospitality professionals to reflect our values and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As part of our team, you will:

1. Operate the room service department efficiently, courteously, and professionally.
2. Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, including taking room service orders and providing hotel information.
3. Answer all incoming calls promptly and accurately, including handling charges and reservations.
4. Set up and deliver food and beverage orders, maintain sanitation, and assist with VIP amenities and hospitality suites.
5. Perform shift sidework, respond to guest needs, and handle cash responsibilities according to policies.
6. Report communications and issues to supervisors and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 months of experience in food service and customer service roles.
• Excellent communication, hearing, and visual skills.
• Physical ability to carry up to 25 lbs and move around the hotel.

Work Environment: 95% indoor shift, with accommodations for disabilities.

Compensation: $18-$30/hour with benefits including Marriott and Sage Hospitality discounts.
