Job Overview

Oversee the Club service for our guests and ensure a quality experience, including excellence in guest satisfaction, food quality, and service. Prepare food and beverages for the club room. Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and club areas. Provide information about the hotel and the city to guests and service their immediate needs thoroughly.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and maintain continental breakfast buffet, honor bar, and hors d'oeuvres.
  • Improve ranking of our TripAdvisor program.
  • Determine and order supplies, maintain inventory control, and minimize unnecessary expenses.
  • Develop relationships with guests and travel agencies to promote our Luxury Travel segment.
  • Provide management presence on weekends to cater to premium guests.
  • Champion the Guest Recovery program and develop solutions to recurring issues.
  • Assist guests with information about restaurants, entertainment, transportation, and other services.
  • Assist in guest satisfaction within the Club Lounge level.
  • Offer services such as reservations, ticketing, limousine, and tour organization.
  • Address guest comments and complaints according to procedure, including VIP service.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.
  • Communicate hotel activities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
  • Proficiently use computer systems (POS, PMS, MARSHA, EMPOWER, etc.).
  • Engage with VIP and loyalty program guests for feedback.
  • Follow up on guest issues professionally and promptly.
  • Enhance hotel branding through historical knowledge and guest interactions.
  • Replenish and stock food and beverages, keeping all items at safe temperatures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • Assist with safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor and provide welcoming service.
  • Answer guest inquiries courteously and follow up on requests.
  • Stay informed about hotel and area events to assist guests effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum one year of customer service experience.

Knowledge/Skills: Strong mathematical skills, knowledge of food safety, customer service skills, fluency in English, ability to read and write, and proficiency with computer systems.

Physical Demands: Ability to lift 20-40 lbs., push carts weighing up to 100 lbs., stand continuously, climb stairs, and perform multi-tasking in a noisy environment. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
