Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver in-home care to adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in Dayton, Tennessee. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients to improve communication and quality of life.

The role offers flexible 2–3 days per week with competitive pay and opportunities to implement aural rehabilitation and AAC solutions while collaborating with a compassionate home health team.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
