Job summary

Amedisys in Dayton, TN is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver in-home care to adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You will work within patients' homes to enhance communication and quality of life, including AAC and aural rehab services.

The role requires an active SLP license, CCC-SLP with qualifying graduate coursework, and CPR certification. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and a CAE/CAA-accredited practicum
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and AAC systems for severe expressive/language disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
