Job summary

Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support patients in home-based care across Georgia. You will evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in adults, and provide AAC and aural rehabilitation for hearing-impaired clients.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient-centered care, state licensure, CCC-SLP eligibility and CPR certification, with opportunities for professional growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted state license to practice speech pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification with coursework and supervised practicum.
• Current CPR certification.
• Preferred: 1+ year of speech pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and AAC systems for those with severe expressive/language needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
