Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama. You will work 2-3 days per week with a Monday–Friday schedule, focusing on assessment and treatment of speech, language and swallowing disorders in adults, with orientation pay followed by per-point pay.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the state you are assigned to work.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with required coursework and clinical practicum.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC systems for Deaf or hard of hearing individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.
