Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our home health team, serving adults in their homes. This part-time role focuses on assessing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders, with an emphasis on AAC and aural rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP with accredited program; CFY option possible.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provides aural rehabilitation and AAC for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
