Job summary

Amedisys Home Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist for a part-time role in Georgia. You will assess and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in patients’ homes, providing comprehensive care and support.

Responsibilities include aural rehabilitation, AAC support for those with severe communication needs, and collaboration with care teams. A state license, CCC-SLP, and CPR are required to deliver high-quality home-based therapy.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for deaf or hard of hearing individuals and AAC systems when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
