Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an in-home Special Education Tutor to deliver personalized 1:1 instruction, socio-emotional support, and behavioral guidance aligned to each student's IEP goals — right in their home across California. This flexible, part-time W-2 role starts with 2-10 hours per week and offers room to grow.

Pay ranges from $25-$35+ per hour, depending on credentials and experience; a valid driver’s license and background check are required, with bilingual Spanish/English a strong

Qualifications

AA/BA or higher in a relevant field (Special Education, Psychology, or Education).
Hands-on experience with students with special needs (ASD/ADHD/Dyslexia) is preferred.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus; premium rates for bilingual matches.

Responsibilities

Lead 1:1 sessions tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
Implement lesson plans aligned to each student's IEP goals.
Adapt materials to each student's learning profile.
Track progress after each session and communicate with parents/guardians.
Foster a safe, inclusive environment to build confidence.
