Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an In-Home Special Education Tutor to deliver personalized 1:1 tutoring across California. You will support students with diverse needs, implement IEP-aligned lesson plans, and provide socio-emotional guidance in-home, with resources and team backing.

The role is flexible, part-time, and paid hourly with premiums for credentials and bilingual matches. It operates as a W-2 position with growth opportunities and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• AA, BA, or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education is preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting students with special needs or learning differences (e.g., ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia).
• Willingness to pass a background check and have reliable transportation.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a strong plus with premium rates for bilingual matches.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging 1:1 sessions tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement lesson plans aligned to each student's IEP goals with full team support.
• Adapt academic materials to each student's learning profile.
• Track progress after each session and maintain open, empathetic communication with families.
