Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an In-Home Special Education Tutor to deliver 1:1 instruction in students' homes across California. You will support academics, socio-emotional growth, and behavior guidance aligned to each student's IEP goals.

Starting part-time (2-10 hrs/week) as a W-2 employee, you can grow your hours by taking on more students. Mileage reimbursement and other perks accompany this flexible role.

Qualifications

• AA, BA, or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting students with special needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia).
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging 1:1 sessions tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement creative lesson plans aligned to each student's IEP goals with team support.
• Adapt academic materials to each student's unique learning profile.
• Track progress after each session and communicate with parents and guardians.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that builds confidence and resilience.
