Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an In-Home Special Education Tutor to deliver personalized instruction and socio-emotional support in students' homes across California. This 1:1 role aligns with each learner's IEP goals and learning style.

Starting 2-10 hours per week as a part-time W-2 employee, with room to grow. Competitive pay ($25-$35+ per hour) and premium rates for bilingual matches, plus mileage and tech reimbursement.

Qualifications

• AA/BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education.
• Hands-on experience with students with special needs (ASD/ADHD/Dyslexia).
• Willing to travel to client homes and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 sessions tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement lesson plans aligned to each student's IEP goals with support from our team.
• Adapt academic materials to each student's learning profile.
• Track progress after each session and maintain open communication with parents/guardians.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that builds confidence and resilience.
