Job summary

24 Hour Home Care in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Part-time Special Needs Caregiver to support children, teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. You will follow individualized care plans, provide personal care, meals, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping while keeping families updated on progress.

Candidates should be reliable, punctual, able to travel, and able to obtain TB testing and CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs).
• Ability to travel to different cities (potentially multiple locations).
• CPR and First Aid certification required;TB test proof required.
• Two references – at least one must confirm disability-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to children, teens, and adults with I/DDs.
• Follow individualized client care plans and provide progress updates to the care team.
• Offer personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
