Job summary

24 Hour Home Care is seeking a Special Needs Caregiver in the Portola Region to support children, teens, and adults with I/DDs at clients’ homes. You will follow individual care plans and provide regular progress updates to the care team, ensuring compassionate, client-centered support.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Pay for CA assignments ranges from $16.90 to $20 per hour, with benefits including health coverage,

Qualifications

• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to travel to different cities (highly desired)
• Two references – at least one reference must be able to confirm disability‑related experience
• Proof of negative TB Results –test accommodations or waivers may be available!
• Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s) –reimbursement available!
