Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver for a part-time role in the Houston area. You will assist clients with daily living activities, monitor safety, prepare meals, and support medications while engaging clients in social activities.

Flexible Monday–Friday schedule, 3 pm–6 pm, 15 hours weekly, with Spanish language skills a plus. In-person home care with a dedicated caregiving team.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Dependable with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Maintain client safety through wellness checks and monitoring.
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure hydration.
• Assist with medication reminders and adherence.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
• Change dressings and assist with basic medical tasks as directed.
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities for well-being.
• Document and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Adapt care approaches to different living situations and needs.
