Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Home Health Caregiver to support clients in their homes with daily living activities, safety, and compassionate care in the Tomball area (ZIP 77375).

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with evening shifts (5 pm–10 pm), Monday through Saturday, starting at $10.60 per hour. You will join a supportive team providing personalized care to clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of caregiving experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility
• Dependable with excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide professional assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Maintain client safety through regular wellness checks and environmental monitoring
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration
• Assist with medication reminders and compliance
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe living environment
• Change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed
• Engage clients in social and recreational activities to support mental well-being
• Document and report changes in client condition to healthcare team
• Adapt care approaches to various living conditions and client needs
