Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare in Houston, TX is seeking a part-time Home Health Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home support, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being for clients.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor safety, prepare nutritious meals, remind about medications, perform light housekeeping, and report changes to the healthcare team. Flexible 19 hours weekly; shifts include 4, 6, or 8 hours, with 11 am–5 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL support (bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene).
• Maintain client safety via wellness checks and environment monitoring.
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure hydration.
• Assist with medication reminders and compliance.
• Light housekeeping to keep a clean, safe home.
• Document and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Adapt care approaches to client needs.
