Job summary

MDH Network, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Instructor in Burbank, CA to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities and community outings.

You will deliver training, record progress, and work with a supportive team to create safe and engaging routines. The role requires a high school diploma, driving to various locations, and a compassionate, reliable approach with strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or related challenges.
• Valid driver’s license and California auto insurance for driving to community locations.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and structured activities to individuals in their homes and community.
• Document progress and report accurately; communicate with families and care teams.
• Assist with daily living skills, mobility training, and coping strategies.
• Follow the Individual's Service Plan and adapt training as needed.
• Coordinate with circle of support and healthcare providers to ensure safety.
• Participate in required trainings and team meetings to grow in the role.
