Job summary

MDH Network, Inc. is seeking a Program Instructor in Whittier, CA to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community activities.

You will help participants engage in daily routines and recreational activities under guided supervision. The role is full-time on the day shift, with a schedule that runs Monday through Friday from 8am to 2pm; Saturdays and Sundays are off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• One year of relevant experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or related care roles.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initial and ongoing assessment of participants and collaborate with families and support teams to ensure participants can participate in community programs and daily routines.
• Provide basic medical care as prescribed and document reporting accurately and timely; communicate with stakeholders about treatment modifications or adaptive needs.
