Achievement Behavior Services is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with a child in their home, under the supervision of a BCBA. The role involves implementing ABA techniques, data collection, and collaboration with families and the ABA team.

Flexible after-school hours with potential weekend sessions; competitive starting pay based on qualifications, with opportunities to pursue RBT credentials and ongoing training from a BCBA.

Qualificações

• Active RBT certificate preferred from the BACB.
• Background in ABA, psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills are required.
• Proven experience with pre-school and elementary school-aged children.
• Other NY State requirements and qualifications as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Build rapport and engage with the student to foster effective communication of needs, wants, and feelings.
• Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition per the BIP.
• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA sessions with direct service and implement ABA techniques.
• Maintain thorough session-by-session documentation, data analysis, and billing.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisors and respond to clinical feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, supervisors, and coworkers.
