Job summary

Achievement-Behavior-Services (ABS) is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with a child in the home environment, supported by a BCBA. The role offers a flexible part-time schedule, including after-school hours and potential weekends based on family needs.

The position emphasizes ABA methods, progress documentation, and collaboration with a BCBA supervisor. Opportunities exist to pursue RBT credentials and receive personalized training.

Qualifications

• Applied Behavior Analysis is the core field relevant to the role.
• Strong communication skills with families and team members.

• Proven ability to document progress notes and data points.

Responsibilities

• Engage in one-on-one, in-home sessions to support the child’s communication, focus, and adaptive behaviors.
• Measure, assess, and document skill acquisition as per Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Deliver 1:1 ABA-based sessions including DTI, prompting, modeling, redirection, reinforcement, and reward systems.
• Maintain thorough session documentation, data analysis, and billing records.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisor and clinical direction for feedback.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, supervisors, and coworkers.
