Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Ohio currently seeks an Ice Cream Specialist for part-time work (25 hours or less per week). Shifts may include 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Pay ranges from $11.50 to $13.50 per hour. You will prepare hand-dipped cones, shakes and other treats, while delivering the Hi Five Guest Experience.

Eligibility requires at least 16 years old. This role also involves POS and gas console duties, cash handling, stocking, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items and use supplies in the dip cabinets.
• Ability to handle coins, cash, checks, credit transactions and coupons.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience with a warm greeting.
• DipSide: prepare shakes, cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• Efficiently operate POS system and gas console, handling transactions.
• Stock shelves, fill dip cabinets, keep coffee pots and ice dispensers full.
• Maintain clean, safe store and monitor stock rotation and dates.
• Support security by monitoring guests and following cash-drop procedures.
• Complete time records and the Customer First Document.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
