Job summary

The Glenview Park District is seeking a part-time on-site supervisor for the ice center in Glenview, IL. You will manage skate rental staff, guards, and maintenance crews, while coordinating with a full-time supervisor. Regular ice maintenance and customer service are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable with previous experience managing part-time staff or facilities.
• Knowledge of ice arena operations; experience driving an ice resurfacer preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site part-time staff (e.g., skate rental, skate guards, maintenance).
• Perform regular ice maintenance and Zamboni-related tasks.
• Clean interior and facilities (floors, windows, bathrooms, etc.).
• Set up and tear down tables and chairs for programs and events.
• Handle seasonal assignments (snow removal, salting, ice rink maintenance).
• Manage skate rental including cash/credit handling.
