Job summary

Columbia NW Heating is seeking a part-time Customer Engagement Representative to work inside Home Depot locations in Beaverton or Portland (Mall 205). You’ll talk with homeowners shopping at Home Depot, answer basic questions about heating and cooling, and help schedule a free in-home estimate with our HVAC team.

HVAC experience is not required; we provide training. Schedule is Wednesday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, 25–30 hours per week, with $21–$24/hour and potential monthly appointment bonuses.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, fundraising or sales.
HVAC experience is NOT required; training provided.
Friendly, outgoing and comfortable talking to strangers.

Responsibilities

Greet and engage Home Depot shoppers in a friendly, approachable way.
Start conversations with homeowners about their heating and cooling needs.
Provide basic information about our HVAC services.
Schedule free in-home estimates using our easy mobile app.
Hand out information and promotional materials.
Represent Columbia NW Heating professionally and positively.
Work toward appointment goals while creating a great customer experience.
Communicate with our sales and service teams to ensure proper follow-up.
