Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and develop a team of Package Handlers, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. You will implement training, monitor performance, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across departments.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to lift heavy weights, and a flexible schedule, with preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred: Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Package Handlers and train, develop, and hold workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times and in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment with proactive communication and inter-departmental cooperation.
