Job summary

UPS is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, lead safety and productivity initiatives, and develop teams across the department. The role emphasizes effective communication, training, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet daily performance goals.

The position requires managing resources, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.
• Provides innovative and effective leadership and cultivates a functional working relationship with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.
• Ensures department resources are managed for maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Implements employee personal development plans to support continued professional growth.
• Ensures employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, materials, and regular evaluations.
