Job summary

UPS is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, lead safety and productivity, and develop workgroups across shifts. The role focuses on maintaining high standards for accuracy, service, organization, and safety while fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, management experience preferred, and the ability to lift 70 lbs. and work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety.
• Provides innovative and effective leadership and cultivates a functional working relationship with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.
• Implements employee personal development plans to ensure professional growth of department personnel.
• Ensures all department employees receive orientation, training, materials, and evaluations with proactive coaching.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures.
