Job summary

Centro Restaurant Group is seeking a part-time Human Resources & Payroll Assistant to support payroll processing, compliance tracking, and HR administrative tasks. The role requires collaboration with HR and store leadership, with travel between locations and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Payroll processing experience and familiarity with payroll systems.
• Experience with software systems and Google Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Restaurant administrative experience preferred but not required.
• Conversational Spanish preferred but not required.
• Commitment to CRG’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR with payroll processing and compliance tracking.
• Ensure pay rates, deductions, reimbursements, and garnishments are up to date.
• Enter new hires and off-boarding in the payroll system.
• Enter accurate hours, tips, and bonuses.
• Run timecard and payroll reports and collaborate with leadership to fix errors.
• Assist with compliance tracking and data management across systems.
