Roger’s Gardens in Corona del Mar, CA is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Assistant to support accurate, timely payroll processing for about 100 employees. This role requires confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail as you collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.

The position is 20–24 hours per week with compensation ranging from $25.00 to $29.00 per hour and opportunities to grow in payroll and benefits

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience preferred.
• Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS.
• Strong understanding of California wage-and-hour rules.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Responsibilities

• Assist biweekly payroll processing for approximately 100 employees
• Review timecards and timesheets for accuracy
• Enter and maintain payroll data in Paycom
• Process payroll adjustments and corrections
• Maintain accurate payroll records
• Respond to employee questions about pay
• Assist with year-end payroll activities (W-2)
• Support payroll-related compliance and recordkeeping
