Job summary

Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is seeking a part-time HR Onboarding Coordinator in Chicago. The role supports onboarding, integration, and offboarding for attorneys and professionals, serving as the main contact for new hires and departures. The position requires 20–25 hours weekly with onsite presence required on Tuesdays.

The role collaborates with Recruiting, IT, Payroll, and Practice Management, and emphasizes confidentiality and professional standards in all duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a large legal or professional services firm.
• Experience with HRIS (Fusion) and ADP Workforce Now is highly desired.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support onboarding, integration, transition, and offboarding for attorneys and professionals.
• Serve as primary point of contact for new hires and departing employees.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, IT, Payroll, and other teams to facilitate onboarding logistics.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all firm matters.
