GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, offers a part-time HR internship at our Milwaukee Corporate Office. The role supports HR Director with confidential activities and a variety of HR tasks, with 10–20 hours/week during the school year and potential full-time progression during breaks.

Responsibilities include benefits administration, HRIS processing, recruiting support, onboarding, and intranet updates, while promoting a positive, professional image to employees.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or comparable HR experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; InDesign experience a plus.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS is a plus.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a multitask environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Background in professional services consulting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with benefit administration including auditing, vendor communications, and answering benefit questions.
• Process employee information changes in the HRIS for accuracy.
• Assist with recruiting: schedule interviews, background checks, and postings.
• Attend career fairs at various schools.
• Maintain employee data and personnel files; respond to data requests.
• Support onboarding and new hire orientations as needed.
• Maintain HR content on the company intranet.
• Assist in planning wellness initiatives and corporate events.
• Assist with offboarding paperwork and tasks.
• Reconcile department credit card receipts and coordinate with Finance.
• Support miscellaneous projects as assigned.
