Job summary

Nissin Ion Equipment USA, Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking a part-time Human Resources Generalist in our Billerica, MA office. The HR Generalist will perform payroll and benefits administration, maintain HR systems, and support communications, training, onboarding, and compliance across multiple states.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, familiarity with ADP Vantage, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as HR Generalist.
• Assistance with processing multi-state payrolls.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
• ADP Vantage experience is a plus.
• Japanese business language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly payrolls for multiple states using ADP Vantage.
• Administer medical, dental, COBRA, 401(k) and other benefits; reconcile invoices.
• Maintain HR data, run reports and manage HR information systems.
• Support President and Corporate HR with communications and training initiatives.
• Respond to employee questions and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding and new hire data entry and training coordination.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
• Assist with various HR admin tasks and company events.
