Job summary

Jing-Jin Electric North America, LLC in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide full HR support including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and recruitment. The role emphasizes employee relations, policy implementation, and data-driven HR metrics, with backup to the HR Manager and potential executive-support duties.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in HR/Business, HR certification is a plus, and relevant manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university preferred; or a combination of education and relevant experience
• HR Certification preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably Automotive Manufacturing) is required
• Experience with current HR/Payroll system preferred (currently ADP Workforce Now)

Responsibilities

• Completing onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews with accurate data entry and compliance
• Conduct manager training on HRIS system
• Responsible for talent acquisition and sourcing high-quality candidates
• Partner with HR management on investigations and issue resolution
• Provide support to employees on leaves, compensation, benefits, programs, procedures
• Improve policies and procedures
• Analyze HR metrics and generate reports when needed
• Ensure job descriptions are developed/compliant with hiring managers
• Coach employees on HR programs and procedures
• Serve as backup to HR Manager and assist executive operations as needed
• Act as Executive Assistant to General Manager when necessary: schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, process expenses, liaise with clients, order supplies, coordinate travel for international travelers
