Job summary

Residential Transitions, Inc. (RTI) is seeking a Part-Time ApartmentConnect Specialist to provide on-site support and service coordination for tenants in Dakota County communities.

The role focuses on promoting housing stability and connecting residents to essential services. In this part-time, hourly, non-exempt position, you will work 20 hours per week during normal business hours at an hourly rate of $21.37.

Qualifications

• Hold an associate's, bachelor's, or related health/human services degree; OR
• Have at least one year of experience in mental health/substance use support; OR
• Hold MH Certified Peer Specialist certification; OR
• Meet unlicensed personnel requirements under Minnesota statutes.

Responsibilities

• Establish trusting, professional relationships with tenants to encourage participation in services.
• Support housing stability by identifying needs and addressing barriers to independent living.
• Respond to referrals from property management and follow up on service eligibility.
• Connect tenants with Dakota County Social Services and community resources.
• Develop familiarity with Dakota County mental health crisis services and crisis resources.
• Collaborate with partners to coordinate tenant support and timely referrals.
• Maintain relationships with property management and community stakeholders.
• Coordinate opportunities for on-site services and events with approval.
