Residential Transitions, Inc. (RTI) is hiring an ApartmentConnect Specialist in Dakota County, MN. You will assist tenants facing mental health or substance use challenges, coordinating services and referrals with county and community partners on-site at apartment complexes.

The role is full-time with robust benefits, including PTO, holidays, and health coverage. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required to support housing stability and tenant well-being.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a health- or human services-related field (Associate’s, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Science).
• At least one year of experience working with the target population (mental illness, substance use disorders, or related needs).
• Certification and experience as a Mental Health Certified Peer Specialist (MH CPS).
• Meets requirements for unlicensed personnel under Minnesota statutes (144A.43 to 144A.483).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance if transporting tenants.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check, DHS fingerprint checks, and related screenings.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.

• Establish trusting relationships with tenants so they feel comfortable accepting services.
• Prioritize exploring creative solutions to maintain housing for all tenants and reduce homelessness risk.
• Respond to referrals from Property Manager to determine eligibility for programs.
